Instructions for preparing your final paper with LaTeX:
Papers, which do not conform to the page layout described above, will not be accepted by the computer system. Thus, please do not change the page layout prepared in the LaTeX template provided above.
In some cases it may happen that the paper size in the LaTeX installation is set to a wrong value. In MikTeX and dvipdfm, this parameter is set in the file “config” in the directory “texmf\dvipdfm\config”. Please make sure that in the section “% Set default paper size here” the option “p a4″ (instead of “p letter”) is specified. When calling the dvips program from the command line, the paper size can be stated by providing the additional option “-t a4″. For the bibliography, the instructions given in the template must be followed as well. However, automatically created bibliographies lead to problems that could not be solved yet.
Instructions for preparing PDF files:
Please make sure that all objects such as pictures and fonts are embedded in the file. Please check the manual of your PDF writer for details.
In case of using a demo software to prepare the final PDF file, please make sure that no additional comments or watermarks have been included in the file.
